A manticore from Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition.
The manticore is an originally Persian legendary creature with the head of a human, the body of a lion and a tail of venomous spines similar to porcupine quills (although some accounts give the manticore the tail of a scorpion instead). There are some accounts that the spines can be shot like arrows, thus making the manticore a lethal predator.
Manticores also appear in Dungeons & Dragons.
